Preventive Cardiology
Clinical Preventive Cardiology deals with the identification and management of cardiovascular risk factors, with the aim of preventing acute events such as heart attack, stroke and heart failure (primary prevention) and of avoiding recurrence in patients already affected (secondary prevention).
Every patient undergoes a complete risk-profile assessment: detailed history, blood tests, electrocardiogram, echocardiogram and, where indicated, stress testing or advanced cardiac imaging. The pathway is personalised and includes interventions on lifestyle, nutrition, physical activity and drug therapy, in collaboration with diabetology, nutrition, sports medicine and cardiac rehabilitation.
Complete risk assessment
Every patient undergoes a thorough assessment of their risk profile: detailed history, blood tests, electrocardiogram and echocardiogram and, where indicated, exercise testing or advanced cardiac imaging.

Primary and secondary prevention
We act both to prevent the first cardiovascular event in at-risk individuals (primary prevention) and to avoid recurrences in patients who have already had a heart attack or stroke (secondary prevention).

Risk factors and lifestyle
We address blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, diet and physical activity, with practical, sustainable guidance for lasting lifestyle change.

Personalised, multidisciplinary pathway
Each plan is tailor-made and includes lifestyle and drug-therapy measures, in collaboration with diabetology, nutrition, sports medicine and cardiac rehabilitation.
